RESUMO

Mechanical signals in animal tissues are complex and rapidly changed, and how the force transduction emerges from the single-cell adhesion bonds remains unclear. DNA-based molecular tension sensors (MTS), albeit successful in cellular force probing, were restricted by their detection range and temporal resolution. Here, we introduced a plasmonic tension nanosensor (PTNS) to make straight progress toward these shortcomings. Contrary to the fluorescence-based MTS that only has specific force response thresholds, PTNS enabled the continuous and reversible force measurement from 1.1 to 48 pN with millisecond temporal resolution. We used the PTNS to visualize the high dynamic range single-molecule force transitions at cell-matrix adhesions during adhesion formation and migration. Time-resolved force traces revealed that the lifetime and duration of stepwise force transitions of molecular clutches are strongly modulated by the traction force through filamentous actin. The force probing technique is sensitive, fast, and robust and constitutes a potential tool for single-molecule and single-cell biophysics.

Acalabrutinib studies have limited Asian participation. This phase 1/2 study (NCT03932331) assessed acalabrutinib in Chinese patients with relapsed/refractory (R/R) mantle cell lymphoma (MCL). Primary endpoint was blinded independent central review (BICR)-assessed overall response rate (ORR). Overall, 34 patients were enrolled. Most patients were men (88%); median age was 63 years and 59% had ≥3 prior treatments. Median treatment duration was 14 months (range, 1-24). Any-grade adverse events (AEs) and grade ≥3 AEs occurred in 85.3% and 44.1% of patients, respectively. AEs causing treatment discontinuation were aplastic anemia, thrombocytopenia, and gastrointestinal infection (n = 1 each). Fatal AEs occurred in 2 patients (aplastic anemia and multiple organ dysfunction syndrome [n = 1 each]). BICR-assessed ORR was 82.4% (95% confidence interval [CI]: 65.5, 93.2); 12 (35.3%) patients achieved complete response. Estimated 12-month OS was 84.5% (95% CI: 66.6, 93.3). Acalabrutinib yielded tolerable safety and high response rates in Chinese patients with R/R MCL.

The evaluation of grouting effects constitutes a critical aspect of grouting engineering. With the maturity of the grouting project, the workload and empirical characteristics of grouting effect evaluation are gradually revealed. In the context of the Qiuji coal mine's directional drilling and grouting to limestone aquifer reformation, this study thoroughly analyzes the influencing factors of grouting effects from geological and engineering perspectives, comparing these with various engineering indices associated with drilling and grouting. This led to the establishment of a "dual-process, multi-parameter, and multi-factor" system, employing correlation analysis to validate the selected indices' reasonableness and scientific merit. Utilizing the chosen indices, eight high-performing machine learning models and three parameter optimization algorithms were employed to develop a model for assessing the effectiveness of directional grouting in limestone aquifers. The model's efficacy was evaluated based on accuracy, recall, precision, and F-score metrics, followed by practical engineering validation. Results indicate that the "dual-process, multi-parameter, multi-factor" system elucidates the relationship between influencing factors and engineering parameters, demonstrating the intricacy of evaluating grouting effects. Analysis revealed that the correlation among the eight selected indicators-including the proportion of boreholes in the target rock strata, drilling length, leakage, water level, pressure of grouting, mass of slurry injected, permeability properties of limestone aquifers before being grouted, permeability properties of limestone aquifers after being grouted-is not substantial, underscoring their viability as independent indicators for grouting effect evaluation. Comparative analysis showed that the Adaboost machine learning model, optimized via a genetic algorithm, demonstrated superior performance and more accurate evaluation results. Engineering validation confirmed that this model provides a more precise and realistic assessment of grouting effects compared to traditional methods.

Diabetes is a metabolic disorder characterized by high blood glucose levels and is a leading cause of kidney disease. Diabetic nephropathy has been attributed to dysfunctional mitochondria. However, many questions remain about the exact mechanism. The structure, function, and molecular pathways between mammalian podocytes and Drosophila nephrocytes are highly conserved, therefore we used flies on a high-sucrose diet to model type 2 diabetic nephropathy. The nephrocytes of high-sucrose diet flies showed significant functional decline and decreased cell size, associated with a shortened lifespan. Structurally, the nephrocytes filtration structure known as the slit diaphragm was disorganized. At the cellular level, we found altered mitochondrial dynamics and dysfunction. Regulating mitochondrial dynamics by either genetic modification of the Pink1/Park (mammalian PINK1/PRKN) pathway or treatment with BGP-15, mitigated the mitochondrial defects and nephrocyte functional decline. These findings support a role for Pink1/Park-mediated mitophagy and associated control of mitochondrial dynamics, essential for function, in diabetic nephropathy; and demonstrate that targeting this pathway might provide therapeutic benefits in type 2 diabetic nephropathy.

Amino acids are the building blocks of proteins and are widely used as important ingredients for other nitrogen-containing molecules. Here, we report the sustainable production of amino acids from biomass-derived hydroxy acids with high activity under visible-light irradiation and mild conditions, using atomic ruthenium-promoted cadmium sulfide (Ru1/CdS). On a metal basis, the optimized Ru1/CdS exhibits a maximal alanine formation rate of 26.0 molAla·gRu­1·h­1, which is 1.7 times and more than two orders of magnitude higher than that of its nanoparticle counterpart and the conventional thermocatalytic process, respectively. Integrated spectroscopic analysis and density functional theory calculations attribute the high performance of Ru1/CdS to the facilitated charge separation and O-H bond dissociation of the a-hydroxy group, here of lactic acid. The operando nuclear magnetic resonance further infers a unique "double activation" mechanism of both the CH-OH and CH3-CH-OH structures in lactic acid, which significantly accelerates its photocatalytic amination toward alanine.

OBJECTIVES: The distribution characteristics of intrathecal drugs and the limitation of current catheterization techniques make traditional intrathecal analgesic treatment nearly useless for refractory craniofacial pain, such as trigemina neuralgia. This technical guideline aims to promote the widespread and standardize the application of intra-prepontine cisternal drug delivery via spinal puncture and catheterization. METHODS: A modified Delphi approach was used to work for this guideline. On the issues related to the intra-prepontine cisternal targeted drug delivery technique, the working group consulted 10 experts from the field with 3 rounds of email feedback and 3 rounds of conference discussion. RESULTS: For the efficacy and safety of the intra-prepontine cisternal targeted drug delivery technique, a consensus was formed on 7 topics (with an agreement rate of more than 80%), including the principles of the technique, indications and contraindications, patient preparation, surgical specifications for intra-prepontine cisternal catheter placement, analgesic dosage coordination, analgesic management, and prevention and treatment of complications. CONCLUSIONS: Utilizing the intra-prepontine cisternal drug infusion system to manage refractory craniofacial pain could provide advantages in terms of minimally invasive, secure, and effective treatment. This application can not only alleviate the suffering of individuals experiencing the prolonged pain but also support the maintenance of quality of life and dignity in their final moments, justifiing its widespread dissemination and standardized adoption in domestic and international professional fields.

Clay colloids in the subsurface environment have a strong adsorption capacity for radionuclides, and the mobile colloids will carry the nuclides for migration, which would promote the movability of radionuclides in the groundwater environment and pose a threat to the ecosphere. The investigations of the adsorption/desorption behaviors of radionuclides in colloids and porous media are significant for the evaluation of the geological disposal of radioactive wastes. To illustrate the adsorption/desorption behaviors of 241Am(Ⅲ) in Na-montmorillonite colloid and/or quartz sand systems at different pH (5, 7 and 9), ionic strengths (0, 0.1 and 5 mM), colloid concentrations (300 and 900 mg/L), nuclide concentrations (500, 800, 1100 and 1400 Bq/mL) and grain sizes (40 and 60 mesh), a series of batch sorption-desorption experiments were conducted. Combining the analysis of the physical and chemical properties of Na-montmorillonite with the Freundlich model, the influencing mechanism of different controlling factors is discussed. The experimental results show that the adsorption/desorption behaviors of 241Am(Ⅲ) in Na-montmorillonite colloid and/or quartz sand strongly are influenced by the pH value and ionic strength of a solution, the colloid concentration as well as quartz sand grain size. The adsorption and desorption isotherms within all the experimental conditions could be well-fitted by the Freundlich model and the correlation coefficients (R2) are bigger than 0.9. With the increase in pH, the adsorption partition coefficient (Kd) at 241Am(Ⅲ)-Na-montmorillonite colloid two-phase system and 241Am(Ⅲ)-Na-montmorillonite colloid-quartz sand three-phase system presents a trend which increases firstly followed by decreasing, due to the changes in the morphology of Am with pH. The Kd of 241Am(Ⅲ) adsorption on montmorillonite colloid and quartz sand decreases with increasing in ionic strength, which is mainly attributed to the competitive adsorption, surface complexation and the reduction of surface zeta potential. Additionally, the Kd increases with increasing colloid concentrations because of the increase in adsorption sites. When the mean grain diameter changes from 0.45 to 0.3 mm, the adsorption variation trends of 241Am(Ⅲ) remain basically unchanged. The research results obtained in this work are meaningful and helpful in understanding the migration behaviors of radionuclides in the underground environment.

BACKGROUND: Heart failure (HF) is usually accompanied by the activation of the sympathetic nerve, and the excessive activation of the sympathetic nerve also promotes cardiac remodeling and cardiac dysfunction. In the isoproterenol (ISO) induced animal model, it is often accompanied by myocardial hypertrophy, fibrosis, and inflammation. Leukocyte immunoglobulin-like receptor B4a (Lilrb4a) is an immunosuppressive regulatory receptor and plays a vital role in cardiovascular disease. However, the effect of Lilrb4a on ventricular arrhythmias from ISO-induced mice model remains unclear. OBJECTIVE: The purpose of this study was to explore the role and molecular mechanism of Lilrb4a in ISO-induced arrhythmogenic remodeling. METHODS: Lilrb4a knockout mice and Lilrb4a overexpression mice were infused with ISO (15 mg/kg/24h, 4 weeks). Echocardiography and Histology were used to evaluate myocardial hypertrophy and cardiac structural remodeling. Surface ECG and Electrophysiological examination were used to evaluate cardiac electrical remodeling and the susceptibility to ventricular arrhythmias (VAs). qRT-PCR and Western Blotting were used to detect the expression levels of ion channel proteins and signal pathway proteins. RESULTS: The results discovered that ISO induced cardiac hypertrophy, fibrosis, and inflammation, and led to electrical remodeling and the occurrence of VAs. Lilrb4a alleviated cardiac structural and electrical remodeling and protected against the occurrence of VAs in ISO-induced mice by gain- or loss-of-function approaches. The mechanism is that Lilrb4a inhibited NF-kB signaling and p38 signaling activation medicated by TAK1. CONCLUSIONS: Lilrb4a alleviates cardiac dysfunction and isoproterenol-induced arrhythmogenic remodeling associated with cardiac fibrosis and inflammation through the regulation of NF-kB signaling and p38 signaling activation.

The second near-infrared (NIR-II, 1000-1700 nm) light-activated organic photothermal agent that synchronously enables satisfying NIR-II fluorescence imaging is highly warranted yet rather challenging on the basis of the overwhelming nonradiative decay. Herein, such an agent, namely TPABT-TD, was tactfully designed and constructed via employing benzo[c]thiophene moiety as bulky electron donor/π-bridge and tailoring the peripheral molecular rotors. Benefitting from its high electron donor-acceptor strength and finely modulated intramolecular motion, TPABT-TD simultaneously exhibits ultralong absorption in NIR-II region, intense fluorescence emission in the NIR-IIa (1300-1500 nm) region as nanoaggregates, and high photothermal conversion upon 1064 nm laser irradiation. Those intrinsic advantages endow TPABT-TD nanoparticles with prominent fluorescence/photoacoustic/photothermal trimodal imaging-guided NIR-II photothermal therapy against orthotopic 4T1 breast tumor with negligible adverse effect.

Americium(III) (Am(III)) in the natural environment is considered immobile due to its low solubility, strong adsorption, and high affinity to solid surfaces. However, the presence of natural colloids may carry Am(III) transport for long distance. The individual and co-transport behaviors of Am(III) and natural colloids through the unsaturated packed columns were investigated under the influence of pH, electrolyte concentration, velocity, Am(III) concentration and natural colloids concentration. Under all experimental conditions, Am(III) individual transport construct sight breakthrough curves (BTCs, CAm/C0 < 3%), but the presence of natural colloids increased the BTCs plateau of Am(III) significantly (30% < CAm/C0 < 80%), indicating that the colloids were able to promote Am(III) transport in the unsaturated porous media. DLVO theoretical calculations reveal that the increased pH and decreased electrolyte concentration lead to a rase in electrostatic repulsion, and the natural colloids tend to be dispersed and stabilized, which facilitates elution. In addition to this, the increase of velocity and colloids concentration will lead to greater breakthrough of natural colloids. The non-equilibrium two-site model and the two-site kinetic retention model well-described the BTCs of Am(III) and natural colloids, respectively. This study provide new insights into the behavior of natural colloids carrying the Am(III) into aquifers through the vadose zone sediments.

Subarachnoid hemorrhage (SAH) is a neurological disorder that severely damages the brain and causes cognitive impairment. MicroRNAs are critical regulators in a variety of neurological diseases. MiR-497-5p has been found to be downregulated in the aneurysm vessel walls obtained from patients with aneurysmal subarachnoid hemorrhage, but its functions and mechanisms in SAH have not been reported. Therefore, this study was designed to investigate the effect of miR-497-5p and its related mechanisms in SAH. We established an in vitro SAH model by exposing PC12 cells to oxyhemoglobin (oxyHb). We found that miR-497-5p was downregulated in SAH serum and oxyHb-treated PC12 cells, and its overexpression inhibited the oxyHb-induced apoptosis, inflammatory response and oxidative stress via activation of the Nrf2 pathway. Mechanistically, the targeting relationship between miR-497-5p and Otx1 was verified by luciferase reporter assays. Moreover, Otx1 upregulation abolished the protective effects of miR-497-5p upregulation against oxyHb-induced apoptosis, inflammation and oxidative stress in PC12 cells. Collectively, our findings indicate that miR-497-5p could inhibit the oxyHb-induced SAH damage by targeting Otx1 to activate the Nrf2/HO-1 pathway, which provides a potential therapeutic target for SAH treatment.

We report a temperature-dependent divergent approach to synthesize multisubstituted cyclopentadienes through cobalt-catalyzed carbon-carbon (C-C) bond activation of cyclopropenes and ring expansion with internal alkynes. By employing different heating procedures, two cyclopentadiene substitution isomers were efficiently and selectively constructed. This reaction does not require preactivation of the metal catalyst or additional reducing reagents. Preliminary mechanistic investigations suggest that the key steps are oxidative addition of the cyclopropene to cobalt catalyst, followed by alkyne insertion and 1,5-ester shift.

BACKGROUND: Prior studies have noted great variability in the plasma levels of risperidone (RIS). Plasma concentrations of RIS and its active moiety are highly variable and depend on absorption, metabolism, and other predictors of metabolic dysregulation; however, these factors are poorly understood and the association between metabolic change and change in psychopathology is uncertain. AIM: To ascertain the characteristics of chronic schizophrenic patients treated with RIS, and to assess their relationship with plasma RIS levels. METHODS: This was a descriptive cross-sectional study of 50 patients with a diagnosis of schizophrenic psychosis treated with RIS in a psychiatric service. The plasma concentrations of RIS and its metabolite 9-hydroxyrisperidone were determined by high performance liquid chromatography. The patients' demographic and clinical characteristics, and psychopathologies were assessed, and the associations between clinical variables and plasma levels of RIS were explored. RESULTS: Male patients received higher doses of RIS than female ones, but plasma concentrations of RIS and risperidone + 9-hydroxyrisperidone (active moiety) were higher in female patients. Age and the mean scores of the general psychopathology subscale of the Positive and Negative Syndrome Scale (PANSS) were significantly positively correlated with plasma concentrations of risperidone + 9-hydroxyrisperidone adjusted for weight and dose in all 50 subjects. In male subjects, we found a statistically significant positive correlation between the concentrations of risperidone + 9-hydroxyrisperidone in plasma/(dose × kg) and age, mean PANSS negative subscale scores, mean PANSS general psychopathology subscale scores, and mean PANSS total scores. CONCLUSION: Long-term use of RIS should be closely monitored in older patients and females to minimize the risk of high concentrations which could induce side effects.

Objectives: Gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD) and sleep problems are highly prevalent among the general population. Both them are associated with a variety of psychiatric disorders such as depression and anxiety, which is highlighting an underexplored connection between them. This meta-analysis aims to explore the association between sleep problems and GERD. Methods: We conducted a comprehensive search on PubMed, Cochrane Library, Embase, and Web of Science, using Medical Subject Headings (MeSH) and keywords, covering articles from the inception of the databases until August 2023. Stata statistical software, version 14.0, was utilized for all statistical analyses. A fixed-effects model was applied when p > 0.1 and I2 ≤ 50%, while a random-effects model was employed for high heterogeneity (p < 0.1 and I2 > 50%). Funnel plots and Egger's test were used to assess publication bias. Results: Involving 22 studies, our meta-analysis revealed that insomnia, sleep disturbance, or short sleep duration significantly increased the risk of GERD (OR = 2.02, 95% CI [1.64-2.49], p < 0.001; I2 = 66.4%; OR = 1.98, 95% CI [1.58-2.50], p < 0.001, I2 = 50.1%; OR = 2.66, 95% CI [2.02-3.15], p < 0.001; I2 = 62.5%, respectively). GERD was associated with an elevated risk of poor sleep quality (OR = 1.47, 95% CI [1.47-1.79], p < 0.001, I2 = 72.4%), sleep disturbance (OR = 1.47, 95% CI [1.24-1.74], p < 0.001, I2 = 71.6%), or short sleep duration (OR = 1.17, 95% CI [1.12-1.21], p < 0.001, I2 = 0). Conclusion: This meta-analysis establishes a bidirectional relationship between four distinct types of sleep problems and GERD. The findings offer insights for the development of innovative approaches in the treatment of both GERD and sleep problems.

We previously found that the relative abundance of Bifidobacterium was increased after chemotherapy; however, the role of Bifidobacterium longum in chemotherapeutic drug resistance in ovarian cancer (OVC) remains unclear. This study aimed to understand the potential effects and mechanism of B. longum extracellular vesicles (B. longum-EVs) on carboplatin (CBP) resistance in OVC. Eight normal and 11 ovarian tissues were collected and the expression of B. longum genomic DNA and its association with acquired CBP resistance in OVC patients was determined. After isolating EVs by ultracentrifugation from B. longum (ATCC 15707), CBP-resistant A2780 cells were treated with PBS, CBP, B. longum-EVs, or CBP + B. longum-EVs, and subsequently analyzed by CCK-8, Edu staining, Annexin V/PI double staining, wound healing, and Transwell assays to detect cell viability, proliferation, apoptosis, migration, and invasion, respectively. MRP1, ATP7A, ATP7B, and p53 expression as well as p53 phosphorylation were measured by western blot analysis. S15A mutation of p53 was assessed to examine the potential role of p53 Ser15 phosphorylation in CBP-resistant OVC. B. longum levels were elevated and positively associated with CBP resistance in OVC patients. Only high concentrations of B. longum-EVs attenuated A2780 cell proliferation, apoptosis, migration, and invasion. B. longum-EVs exposure significantly enhanced the sensitivity of CBP-resistant A2780 cells to CBP and decreased the expression of drug resistance-related proteins. The effect of B. longum-EVs on reversing CBP resistance was completely inhibited by S15A mutation of p53. B. longum-EVs enhanced the sensitivity of OVC cells to CBP through p53 phosphorylation on Ser15.

MiRNAs are a class of small non-coding RNAs, which regulate gene expression post-transcriptionally by partial complementary base pairing. Aberrant miRNA expressions have been reported in tumor tissues and peripheral blood of cancer patients. Bioinformatic tools could improve efficiency of miRNA research, while current bioinformatic tools are in lack of sufficient accuracy. In recent years, artificial intelligence algorithms such as machine learning and deep learning have been widely used in the bioinformatical tools. MiRNA target prediction tools based on artificial intelligence algorithms have higher accuracy than traditional target prediction tools. Bioinformatic tools based on artificial intelligence algorithms successfully predicted miRNA subcellular localization and redistribution, which advanced researchers' understanding of miRNAs. Additionally, the clinical application of artificial intelligence algorithms improved the development of miRNA biomarkers. In this article, we summarized recently developed miRNA bioinformatic tools based on artificial intelligence algorithms. And the potential of machine learning and deep learning in the miRNA research was also highlighted.

RATIONALE: Studies have confirmed that the lung microbiome of lung transplant recipients is altered and serves as a prognostic indicator for long-term mortality. Other studies reported that the lung microbiome affects host immunity and the transcriptome. However, the lung microbiome composition at the early post-transplant period following lung transplantation is unclear, and the relationship of the lung microbiome with pulmonary immunity and the host transcriptome is also not well understood. OBJECTIVES: We hypothesize that changes in the lung microbiome composition in the early post-transplant period may have a predictive value for perioperative outcomes following lung transplantation and that the lung microbiome is correlated with pulmonary immunity and the host transcriptome. Thus, this prospective study aimed at observing the lung microbiome composition in the early post-transplant period and the impact of the lung microbiome on pulmonary cytokines and the host transcriptome. Our findings will help us gain a comprehensive understanding of the distribution and significance of the lung microbiome in the early post-transplant period. METHODS: An observational study was conducted to identify the lung microbiome and the host transcriptome characteristics using next-generation sequencing. Luminex was employed for quantifying alveolar cytokines. Spearman's correlation analysis was utilized to assess the impact of the lung microbiome on pulmonary immunity and differentially expressed genes in patients who died perioperatively after lung transplantation. RESULTS: Patients with poor perioperative outcomes showed an increase in Mycoplasma and Arcobacter, a decrease of Gemella, and increased interleukin (IL)-10, IL-1ß, and tumor necrosis factor (TNF)-α concentration. The lung microbiome correlates with lung immunity in lung transplant recipients. In the death group, the function of differentially expressed genes is associated with cell apoptosis, and promoting TNF production is upregulated. The lung microbiome is related to differentially expressed genes between the two groups. CONCLUSIONS: The lung microbiome and cytokines can be considered as potential biomarkers for early prognosis in lung transplant recipients. The lung microbiome is associated with both lung immunity and differentially expressed genes in lung transplant recipients.

A meta-analysis was conducted to comprehensively explore the effects of platelet-rich plasma (PRP) combined with negative pressure wound therapy (NPWT) in treating patients with chronic wounds. Computer searches were conducted, from database infection to November 2023, in EMBASE, Google Scholar, Cochrane Library, PubMed, Wanfang and China National Knowledge Infrastructure databases for randomized controlled trials (RCTs) on the use of PRP combined with NPWT technology for treating chronic wounds. Two researchers independently screened the literature, extracted data and conducted quality assessments according to the inclusion and exclusion criteria. Stata 17.0 software was employed for data analysis. Overall, 18 RCTs involving 1294 patients with chronic wounds were included. The analysis revealed that, compared with NPWT alone, the use of PRP combined with NPWT technology significantly improved the healing rate (odds ratios [OR] = 1.92, 95% confidence intervals [CIs]: 1.43-2.58, p < 0.001) and total effective rate (OR = 1.31, 95% CI: 1.23-1.39, p < 0.001), and also significantly shortened the healing time of the wound (standardized mean difference = -2.01, 95% CI: -2.58 to -1.45, p < 0.001). This study indicates that the treatment of chronic wounds with PRP combined with NPWT technology can significantly enhance clinical repair effectiveness and accelerate wound healing, with a high healing rate, and is worth further promotion and practice.

Fire emissions in Southeast Asia transported to southern China every spring (March-May), influencing not only the air quality but also the weather and climate. However, the multi-year variations and magnitude of this impact on aerosol radiation forcing in southern China remain unclear. Here, we quantified the multi-year contributions of fire emissions in Indo-China Peninsula (ICP) region to aerosol radiation forcing in the various southern Chinese provinces during the fire season (March-May) of 2013-2019 combining the 3-dimension chemical transport model and the Column Radiation Model (CRM) simulations. The models' evaluations showed they reasonably capture the temporal and spatial distribution of surface aerosol concentrations and column aerosol optical properties over the study regions. The fire emissions over the ICP region were found to increase the aerosol optical depth (AOD) value by 0.1 (15 %) and reduce the single scattering albedo (SSA) in three southern regions of China (Yunnan-YN, Guangxi-GX, and Guangdong-GD from west to east), owing to increases in the proportions of black carbon (BC, 0.4 % ± 0.1 %) and organic carbon (OC, 3.0 % ± 0.9 %) within the aerosol compositions. The transported smoke aerosols cooled surface but heated the atmosphere in the southern China regions, with the largest mean reduction of -5 Wm-2 (-3 %) in surface shortwave radiation forcing and the maximum daily contributions of about -15 Wm-2 (-15 %) to the atmosphere radiation forcing in the GX region, followed by the GD and YN regions. The impacts of ICP fire emissions on aerosol optical and radiative parameters declined during 2013-2019, with the highest rate of 0.393 ± 0.478 Wm-2 yr-1 in the GX for the shortwave radiation forcing in the atmosphere. Besides, their yearly changes in the contribution were consistent with the annual fire emissions in the ICP region. Such strong radiative perturbations of ICP fire emissions were expected to influence regional meteorology in southern China and should be considered in the climate simulations.
